This multipart project collectively referred to as postcollapse.art, explores contemporary art and life from Eastern Europe, Western and Central Asia since the early 90s. It’s a long-term project with three distinct parts currently underway: first, an experimental anti-source-sourcebook; second the Postcollapse Art network, and finally a curatorial project dedicated to emerging artists of the region.
“East”-In-Formation: An Anti-Source Sourcebook to an Era of Postcollapse is an Internet-based experimental book that defines the postcollapse era (in-progress).
Postcollapse Art Network: A resource for artists, curators, and arts professionals hailing from Eastern Europe, Western and Central Asia, or those whose work is interested in the region.
MinEastry of Postcollapse Art and Culture (MPAC) is an artist-run space and think tank dedicated to rethinking our contemporary moment since the fall of the Berlin Wall with an emphasis on artists of Eastern Europe, Western and Central Asia, and their diasporas.
This project is in collaboration with Vuslat D Katsanis.
